Thank you for your interest in a group tour at the University of Southern California. We are excited to welcome your group to campus and connect your students to our current USC students. Use the calendars at the bottom of your screen to select from our available guided and self-guided tours. The calendars below are reserved for groups with high school and older age students.
Before reserving a date from below, please take note of some important considerations:
- Group tours (registration below) are reserved for high school, community colleges, and community based organizations interested in visiting USC for up to 80 students.
- Tours for K-8 grade students are staffed by Tommy's Tours, Volunteer Students Leaders. Please visit this website for information on the request/reservation process.
- If you are an individual family looking to bring a student to campus, please review our available offerings at this website.
- In alignment set by the Office of Youth Protection and Programming, for every 12 students (9-12 grade), 1 chaperone is required to attend. Groups bringing students that are 18 or older will be held to the 20:1 student to chaperone requirement. Chaperones are expected to remain with the group at all times during their visit to USC.
- Groups will be required to provide chaperone information for each attending member at least 2 weeks prior to their group tour. The process to submit this information will be included in the communication emails leading up to your USC Group Tour.
- By reserving a USC Group Tour, you confirm that each attending chaperone will have recently cleared a background check for your school/organization and completed an appropriate your protection training.
Group Tour Guidelines (9-12, community college, and community based organizations):
- Before submitting your request, please review this agreement with additional details. Submission of your request confirms you have read and agreed to the terms for a Group Visit at USC.
- Group tours from below are reserved for high schools and college age students attending with an organized group, USC maintains the right to cancel reservations for groups that do not meet these criteria.
- We are limited to a maximum of 80 total students, unless indicated in the description with a reduced capacity (tour only).
- Group tour requests submitted by third parties will not be accepted. If a group is interested in visiting USC and is working with a third party company/organization, the attending chaperone must be the one to submit the request. Failure to adhere to these policies will result in a reservation cancellation.
- Most group tour programs include a 15 minute welcome and 50-minute walking tour of campus. Groups should plan to arrive to campus 20-23 minutes before their start time. Due to staff/space availability, some programming may be adjusted and if so, this will be indicated in the description for the specific date.
- Parking for buses is not available at USC, additional details is included in all event communications and available here (drop off and parking information).
- An additional 20 minute student panel is available during the 11:15 AM Group Tour request that can be added to the conclusion of the tour for interested groups.
Due to a high interest in group tours, we do limit schools/organizations to one visit per academic semester. Baring extenuating circumstances, groups should be communicating with our office well in advance if they are not able to attend their scheduled group tour. Late cancellations are subject to having their original group tour date considered as the single visit for the academic semester and will be directed to a future term to reschedule a tour.
Please note, group tours fill up well in advance, if there is a date that is full and you have interest in receiving self-guided information, please register below. If a group cancels, we will reach out to those registered for a self-guided tour with the opportunity to receive a guided tour (space and timing permitting) but recommend groups to prepare to conduct the tour as self-guided.
